First and fore mostly, so many thank yous for the responses to our Christmas survey.  The feedback we have received is very much appreciated and will definitely help us with our planning for this year.  We also received some orders for our “not just for Christmas puddings” and the 10% discount offer will remain open until the end of April.

It’s been a very busy 10 days since my last post.  I had to organise a speedy photo shoot to support an advert in a distributor Christmas catalogue.  Thank you Oliver and Anthony at Cliqq photography – amazing service, not least the mad dash to Tesco to buy some brandy…. for the pudding shots I hasten to add!  I’m delighted with the images which we will be able to use across our advertising, at exhibitions and on our website.  I then had a mad dash to the IFE, International Food Exhibition, on Tuesday and then set too wrapping up admin and preparing for a short break in Spain.  It was a welcome break  with the highlight of staying at a Parador during our visit.  These are state owned hotels usually built around, on or in places of historic interest.  I can thoroughly recommend giving these hotels a try and join the Amigos de Paradores for special discounts – which you also get if you are over 55!!   However, my LillyPuds world is always top of mind and we also dropped by to see the English butcher who stocked our puddings last Christmas.  The puddings were a great success with the ex-pats and Missing Links will be restocking this year.

Other LillyPuds developments are securing attendance at the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre, the Top Drawer event in September and the Country Living Show in November.  This evening, we have the Free From Awards event so very much looking forward to meeting new contacts and gaining more understanding of gluten free trends.  Tomorrow is then back to Spain until Saturday with more business along the way.  Have a good week everyone, catch you soon.
